The National Campaign to Stop Red Light Running and the Red Means
Stop Coalition are teaming up with the Arizona Diamondbacks for
Stop on Red Night at Bank One Ballpark to highlight National Stop
on Red Week and to urge Arizonans to Stop on Red.
- Free Posters! — As you enter the ballpark,
you will receive a National Stop on Red Week poster featuring
Arizona Diamondbacks player spokesman Luis Gonzalez
- Pre-Game Ceremony (6- 6:30 p.m.) —The Arizona
Diamondbacks will join the National Campaign to Stop Red Light
Running, the Red Means Stop Coalition and local traffic safety
advocates as we honor Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) and the Governor’s
Office of Highway Safety for their red light running prevention
efforts
- Red Light Running safety messages on the scoreboard
and the Red Means Stop Coalition PSA on the Diamondvision
- Community Corner (4:30 p.m. – 7th inning)
— The Red Means Stop Coalition will man the Ballpark’s
Community Corner to educate fans on red light running prevention
- Billboards — “Get Home Safe”
billboards will be placed at five different locations in the Phoenix
area for a month-long period around National Stop on Red Week
